2012 COLONIAL SUMMER CAMP  AT THE NEW CANAAN HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Jane Linsley Garard will return as director of the Colonial Summer Camp.  Jane is presently a teacher at Coleytown School in Westport with a degree in Education and Theatre Arts.  She combines her knowledge of Social Studies with Drama to provide a unique summer experience where children will go back in time as they explore our museums and site to learn and create.  The camp activities take place in our museum house and our other museum buildings, providing authentic surroundings to learn of colonial life.

Sign up for one week or five weeks.  The activities are different each week and there are many hands on crafts.  Our camp is limited to 15 children, ages 6 – 11, per session so early sign up is important.
